ENC will match you with the most deserving child based on need, or you can choose from the children listed on our Sponsor a Child gallery. If you cannot contribute to funding one full year's education, please consider any amount you can — we will tell you how the funds received by ENC were spent on educating poor children.

Every sponsorship is personal. We keep you connected to the child you support with regular updates on their school attendance, academic progress, and family circumstances.

The process

Tell us about yourself
Fill out the sponsorship form with your details so ENC can keep you connected to your child's journey throughout their schooling.

Choose your contribution
Select a donation amount — $150 for a full year, $75 for six months, or any amount you can. Every dollar goes directly to a child in Nepal.

Stay connected
ENC will share your child's school details, family background, and academic updates. You'll know exactly how your support is making a difference.

How children are selected

Fair, needs-based criteria

Deep poverty
Priority is given to children from the most resource-deprived households in rural Lalitpur.
Disadvantaged communities
Over 90% of sponsored children are from Dalit communities facing both economic and social barriers.
Preference for girls
About two-thirds of ENC's sponsored children are female, reflecting the mission to empower girls through education.
Family commitment
Parents must commit to regular school attendance (80%+) and ensure their child studies and completes homework at home.
Grade 1 through Grade 12
Once selected, a child is supported from their current grade all the way through high school completion, or until they drop out.
Cash handed directly to students
Scholarship funds are disbursed to students or their parents in the presence of school officials — fully transparent.

SETCO delivers the scholarship
Our partner organization SETCO distributes scholarship funds directly to the child or their parents in the presence of school officials.

Regular progress reports
SETCO monitors attendance and academic progress at least three times a year and shares updates with you and ENC.
