Educate the Needy Children (ENC) is a nonprofit organization registered in 2011. It is a tax-exempt public charity under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3).* It is run by individuals dedicated to helping poor and disadvantaged groups of people in Nepal. These volunteers accept no remuneration which makes it possible to remit 100 percent of ENC donations to Nepal.
ENC strives to open the door of learning to poor and socially deprived children. ENC’s activities focus on providing need-based scholarships to children who lack opportunities because of their financial and social status.
School attendance can be a problem for children who are asked to work for money so as to help meet the basic needs for their families. To the extent we can, we attempt, through scholarships, to overcome this brutal dilemma regarding work or education for our children. The parents must send them to school on a regular basis and must make sure they also study at home and do the required homework. That is our condition the parents must meet. We closely monitor student success.

There are many more children also waiting to hear from potential educational parents like you. Please join us in a cause that is as meaningful as any.
An annual donation of $100 will provide a child with a basic cash scholarship of about $6.50 a month, a school bag, school supplies, and one set of clothing.
A $50 contribution can fund a child’s schooling for 6 months.
We pool other donations of any amount to provide scholarships to as many children as possible.
